How you play the game. A podcast about pickleball and entrepreneurship.
Two Friends: entrepreneur, teacher. One love: pickleball.
Danielle French and Briar Jamieson met playing pickleball and love talking (and laughing) about the game, sharing tips and strategies and creating community. Each week they meet to chat about their game on - and sometimes off - the court.
Danielle is the founder of South Pond Farms and host of the Netflix series, Taste of the Country. Briar is an educator.

Episode 4. Let’s talk. Communication!
This week, Danielle and Briar talk about how we talk to each other in our pickleball games. Danielle is playing in a tournament and getting ready by taking a lesson, practicing, drilling, playing. Briar has read interesting materials on professional tennis player communication with winning and losing teams, patterns of communication, and the differences between rec and competitive play. Are the ways we talk to each other the same or different. What about between men and women? What words can we use. Does everyone want to talk in a game?
How do you keep yourself from getting into a funk during a game when mistakes are made. Keeping your spirits up is not as easy as you need it to be.
What about co-workers or employees who aren't as responsive at taking criticism, how do you work with them and get everyone on the same page.
